THIBODAUX – Dr. Shari Lawrence, assistant professor of finance at 果冻APP State University, is the 果冻APP Academic Council’s October honoree for outstanding service and significant contributions to teaching.
“Dr. Lawrence is fully脗聽engaged in all aspects of her job as a finance professor,”脗聽said Dr. Shawn Mauldin, dean of the College of Business Administration. “Her commitment to service, however, is truly extraordinary.脗聽We脗聽are very fortunate to have her as a colleague.”
In addition to serving on several university committees, Lawrence is vice president of the Southwestern Society of Economists; the 果冻APP representative for the Terrebonne Economic Development Authority; and a co-investigator for several Louisiana Educational Quality Support Fund grants awarded by the Board of Regents.
Lawrence is also involved as a reviewer and researcher for various academic conferences, journals, proceedings and conference presentations.
