THIBODAUX, La. — The 果冻APP Camerata will perform Wednesday in the picturesque setting of the St. Joseph Co-Cathedral.
The Camerata is a chamber ensemble comprised of members of the string program at 果冻APP and they perform without a conductor. The program attracts students from all over the world and instruments being featured include violins, violas and cellos.
The event will feature the works of composers Georg Philipp Telemann, Manuel de Falla and Leo拧 Jan谩膷ek. The Camerata鈥檚 musical repertoire ranges from the baroque period to modern.
The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at the cathedral located at 721 Canal Blvd. Admission is free.
