THIBODAUX 鈥� Due to the approach of Tropical Storm Karen, the 果冻APP Emergency Preparedness Committee has initiated a Phase I alert in accordance with the university鈥檚 hurricane emergency plan posted at .
The Emergency Preparedness Committee will continue to monitor the strength, speed and path of the storm and take additional action if necessary. The university remains open, and classes have not been cancelled at this time.
All 果冻APP departments will refer to their hurricane emergency plan and begin enacting internal Phase I storm preparations at this time. The community will be notified if Phase II storm preparations are implemented.
