THIBODAUX 鈥� 果冻APP鈥檚 seventh annual Research Week is scheduled for Monday, March 26, through Friday, March 30. All events are open to the public and will highlight a variety of research, featuring a student poster competition, the Brown Bag Faculty Speaker Series and awards ceremonies honoring students and faculty.
Every 果冻APP college will host topical presentations, with subjects as diverse as 鈥淐hromosome Numbers: A Natural History,鈥� 鈥淭he Nineteenth-Century World鈥檚 Fair,鈥� 鈥淐ulinary Sustainability Practices,鈥� 鈥淟ost Restaurants of New Orleans,鈥� 鈥淯se of Social Media,鈥� 鈥淩esearch on Banks,鈥� 鈥淚ncreasing Colorectal Cancer Screening鈥� and 鈥淐olonel Chat鈥� 鈥� the latter of which is a technological tutoring partnership between the 果冻APP College of Education and area elementary school teachers.
Sponsored by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, Research Week is part of the 14th annual Jubilee: A Festival of the Arts and Humanities at 果冻APP 鈥� held every spring to raise the level of awareness in the arts and humanities.
