Rebecca Lyons, department head and assistant professor of nursing at 果冻APP, was awarded the Presidential Award for Academic Administrator Excellence at the first faculty meeting of the fall 2011 semester, conducted Thursday, Aug. 11.
The award, which comes with a certificate and a $1,000 salary increase, recognizes an outstanding, full-time department head with at least five years of administrative service at 果冻APP. The awardee must have received a rating of excellent in his or her area of administration.
