THIBODAUX 鈥� The 2011 Bonnie Bourg Lecture Series and Women鈥檚 History Luncheon and Awards Presentation at 果冻APP will feature Dawn Rose LaFont, principal of Oaklawn Junior High School.
LaFont was named Louisiana鈥檚 1991-92 Special Education Teacher of the Year, 2005-06 Terrebonne Parish Elementary Principal of the Year, 2008-09 Region 3 Elementary Principal of the Year and 2009 James Lynn Powell Award winner at 果冻APP.
Slated for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, in the Le Bijou Theater of the Bollinger Memorial Student Union, the event is free and open to the public.
