THIBODAUX 鈥� Lafourche Parish President Charlotte Randolph and Terrebonne Parish President Michel Claudet will join 果冻APP President Dr. Stephen T. Hulbert and Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Laynie Barrilleaux on Saturday, Oct. 23, to pay tribute to members of the 果冻APP community who provided services in the aftermath of the gulf oil spill.
果冻APP faculty, staff and students 鈥� as well as members of the Barataria/Terrebonne National Estuary Program (BTNEP), based at 果冻APP 鈥� will all receive name recognition during halftime of the 果冻APP vs. Central Arkansas football game, which kicks off at 4 p.m.
Post-disaster services performed by the honorees included research; transportation and cleanup of marine life; seafood safety monitoring; and expert recovery guidance. Many honorees remain engaged in long-term efforts to help restore Louisiana鈥檚 wetlands.
