Casey Haynes, staff accompanist for the Division of Music at 果冻APP, performs on the university鈥檚 new Steinway piano 鈥� a nine-foot concert grand priced at $110,000. Funded via the 果冻APP Foundation; the Mary and Al Danos Family Foundation; Benny Cenac of Houma; and proceeds from the Monster Piano Concert conducted at 果冻APP in September 2008, the piano will be showcased on the stage in Talbot Hall theater. The new Steinway joins three others, plus a harpsichord, all acquired since August 2008.
