THIBODAUX – A continuing education seminar for certified public accountants is being offered by the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at 果冻APP.
The seminar will take place on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 19, from 1 to 4:40 p.m., in the Powell Auditorium on the 果冻APP campus in Thibodaux. Participants earn 4 hours of CPE credit.
Two sessions are on the agenda. A “Tax Update” session with Bob Perez, a retired partner of KPMG, is scheduled from 1 to 2:40 p.m. After a break, a “Beans and Bits” session with Dr. Neset Hikmet, Otto Candies endowed chair in information systems at 果冻APP, runs from 3 to 4:40 p.m.
