Fall 2026 Scholarships Available
Applications should be submitted no later than the close of business on the deadline date noted in the scholarship description. 听If the application is not available online, you can pick up a copy of the application in the Scholarship Office, or you can email brandy.stpierre@nicholls.edu for a copy.听 Students who have received other scholarships/awards, have extra-curricular involvement, or are members of campus or community organizations may submit or upload a copy of their student activities resume.
THE CELESTE GROS SILVERNAIL ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP [4 @ $1250]:听 will be awarded to a student enrolled full-time or program full-time in the BSN program at 果冻APP.听 The applicant must be enrolled in NURS 355 or higher at the time of receipt of the scholarship.听 The scholarship committee will give preference to a resident of Lafourche parish.听 The applicant must have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.听 In addition to the application, the student must submit a typed 250-word essay detailing why they should receive the scholarship.听 The deadline to apply is听August 28, 2026. 听Applications are available in the Scholarship Office or by emailing brandy.stpierre@nicholls.edu
The is a $500 scholarship ($250 fall/$250 spring semester) awarded to full-time students majoring in Dietetics. Students eligible are in senior standing in the DPD program. The recipient will receive the scholarship for one academic year and must maintain a 2.75-grade point average to maintain the scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to students who can demonstrate a commitment to the 果冻APP community, as well as the dietetics program and student organization. The deadline to apply is听August 28, 2026.
The is awarded to students of junior status in a food-service related concentration, in honor of Danny LeBlanc, who was a Dietetics student at 果冻APP. This scholarship awards $500 to the applicant selected by the AHSC Scholarship Committee who demonstrates leadership qualities in the area of nutrition and food service.听 The deadline to apply is听August 28, 2026.
ELODIE BROWN CHABERT SCHOLARSHIP IN NURSING [1 @ $1000]:听 will be awarded to a full-time student majoring in Nursing at 果冻APP.听 The applicant can be of any classification but must have and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.听 The applicant must be a parent of a child or children.听 The deadline to apply is听August 28, 2026. 听Applications are available in the Scholarship Office or by emailing brandy.stpierre@nicholls.edu
THE KENNEDI FORET MARINE BIOLOGY UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP [1 @ $250]:听 is open to students who are graduates of a Lafourche Parish High School who are currently enrolled as a full-time student at 果冻APP.听 Students must be a Biology major with a concentration in Marine Biology.听 Applicants must be of Sophomore, Junior, or Senior classification with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Please complete the application . The deadline to apply is August 28, 2026.
The Michael and Christine Bourgeois Endowed Upper Class/Alumni Scholarship #7 [4 @ $500]:听 will be awarded to full-time 果冻APP Undergraduate Senior or an Alumni Graduate student at 果冻APP. Applicants will be graduates of any high school in Lafourche or Terrebonne Parishes.听 Each recipient must be a citizen of the United States and a registered voter in Ward 6 of Lafourche Parish (Chackbay area) and must attach a copy of their Voters ID Card to the application.听 The recipient must be in good academic standing with the university.听 The student may receive the scholarship for one semester, but past recipients can reapply along with other applicants for consideration each fall and spring semester.听 Past recipients are allowed to reapply each semester.听 The deadline to apply is August 28, 2026.听 听The application is available in the Scholarship Office or by emailing brandy.stpierre@nicholls.edu
The is a $250 scholarship awarded to a full-time student majoring in a sports medicine related program (i.e., Health Sciences: Pre-Athletic Training Concentration, Health Sciences: Pre-Professional, etc.) in the College of Sciences and Technology. The recipient will be classified as either a junior or senior and have earned at least a 2.50 cumulative GPA at the time of application. The recipient shall hold the scholarship for two consecutive semesters (one academic year), provided all of the above criteria are met.听 The deadline to apply is听August 28, 2026.
THE SCOTT-VICKNAIR LAW FIRM SCHOLARSHIP [1@ $1000 for one year]:听听is awarded to a full-time student at 果冻APP originally from Lafourche Parish.听 The recipient may be of any classification.听 The recipient must have an interest in Law, either as a major or interest academically.听 Students must submit an essay of no more than 750 words explaining what experiences in their life, current events, or issues from history that had an impact on their interest in law.听 The essay, which must include the student鈥檚 name, 果冻APP ID number and 果冻APP email address, must be returned to the Scholarship Office in Candies Hall or by email to听brandy.stpierre@nicholls.edu 听The deadline to apply is August 28, 2026.
The is a $250 scholarship awarded to full-time (12 or more hours) students at 果冻APP. The student must have a declared major in any of the Allied Health Sciences programs (Pre-Athletic Training/Kinesiology, Communicative Disorders, Dietetics, Health Science Professional Practice, and Health Science Supervision and Management). The recipient must have a 3.25 GPA. If the student is an entering freshman, he/she will be TOPS qualified.听 The scholarship is for one year at $250 per semester. The deadline to apply is听August 28, 2026.
THIBODAUX REGIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM AUXILIARY NURSING SCHOLARSHIP [1 @ $ 1000]:听 is awarded to a student with a declared major of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The applicant must be enrolled full-time in NURS 222/223, 255, 355, 371, 381, 400, 420, or 428.听 The recipient must have and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA or higher in courses that apply toward their BSN degree.听 The applicant must also be a resident of Lafourche, Terrebonne, Assumption, or St. Mary Parish.听 The deadline to apply is听August 28, 2026.听 Applications are available in the Scholarship Office or by emailing brandy.stpierre@nicholls.edu 听
THE TINA HOWELL EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP [1 @ $250]: is awarded to a full-time (12 or more hours) student majoring in Education at 果冻APP. The recipient will be a resident of Assumption Parish.听 The recipient will be classified as a sophomore, junior, or senior.听 Preference will be given to sophomore standing.听 The recipient will have a minimum 3.0 GPA.听 The scholarship is valued at $250 per semester for up to 6 semesters as long as criteria are maintained.听 In order to retain the scholarship for future semesters, the recipient must earn at least 12 hours each term with at least a 3.0 GPA.
