In a session on the symbolist roots of the 20th and 21st centuries, she spoke about how Renaissance theater \u2013\u00a0or commedia dell\u2019arte \u2013 influenced the painter\u2019s art. The session included speakers from all over the U.S., and even Canada and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Cibelli said the research looks into the Symbolist roots of Picasso\u2019s art. It also considers the significance of Symbolism for the history of modern art. Symbolism is a movement that suggests ideas through symbols and emphasizes a greater meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe opportunity to collaborate with scholars and teachers and to present research in this long-established venue for art and art history is much appreciated,\u201d Dr. Cibelli said. \u201cParticipation allows me to present new ideas to students at 果冻APP so that our students know about the current state of art and art history.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference is an avenue for art historians and artists to showcase their research.
