{"id":7961,"date":"2019-10-15T14:05:37","date_gmt":"2019-10-15T14:05:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/?p=7961"},"modified":"2019-10-15T14:05:38","modified_gmt":"2019-10-15T14:05:38","slug":"grambling-nicholls-finalize-mba-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/2019\/10\/15\/grambling-nicholls-finalize-mba-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"Grambling, 果冻APP Finalize MBA Partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">THIBODAUX, La. &#8212; Grambling State University and 果冻APP are partnering to create the next generation of Louisiana business leaders.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two sister institutions in the University of Louisiana System signed a memorandum of understanding creating a pathway for graduates of the Grambling College of Business to enter the 果冻APP Master of Business Administration program.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">果冻APP and Grambling share elite status among business colleges as they are AACSB-accredited, a distinction held by less than 5 percent of business schools worldwide.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt was a pleasure working with (College of Business Dean) Dr. Donald White to fashion an agreement that not only benefits business graduates from Grambling but also serves to further enrich diversity within our MBA population here at 果冻APP,\u201d said Ray Peters, director of the MBA program at 果冻APP.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the agreement, 果冻APP has set aside two grad assistant positions for Grambling graduates who enroll in the program. Students at Grambling State can enroll and begin coursework at 果冻APP State as soon as the Spring of 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis partnership opens another door for students to build on their undergraduate experience and take advantage of the best of Louisiana&#8217;s educational opportunities,\u201d said Rick Gallot, President of Grambling State University.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors approved the MOU at their Aug. 27 meeting.
