Cryoprotectants are molecules that help protect a cell from bursting when cooled to freezing temperatures. Picou researched the ways the molecules impacted our system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cBeing able to go to D.C. to present my research is really awesome because it gives me the chance to network with other researchers in chemistry,\u201d Picou said. \u201cThe 果冻APP chemistry program has helped me succeed in presentations.
