{"id":1199,"date":"2010-02-11T12:57:27","date_gmt":"2010-02-11T17:57:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/?p=1199"},"modified":"2010-02-11T12:57:27","modified_gmt":"2010-02-11T17:57:27","slug":"nicholls-enrollment-stats-point-to-continued-growth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nicholls.edu\/news\/2010\/02\/11\/nicholls-enrollment-stats-point-to-continued-growth\/","title":{"rendered":"果冻APP enrollment stats point to continued growth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THIBODAUX \u2013 果冻APP State  University\u2019s total enrollment has increased steadily over the past four years \u2013 an encouraging sign, administrators say, especially given the institution\u2019s record number of graduates this past fall.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we bid good-bye to students at commencement exercises, we\u2019re welcoming more and more students to the classroom,\u201d Larry Howell, associate provost, said. \u201c果冻APP is clearly a healthy institution that continues to fulfill its mission of educating tomorrow\u2019s workforce. The spring enrollment statistics only further validate our position as the region\u2019s university of choice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The total, current enrollment of 6,495 exceeds the spring 2009 enrollment by 66 students \u2013 with graduate student rolls having increased by 13.4 percent.
