Bio:
Felicia Gros holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education, both earned from Louisiana State University. Her diverse professional background reflects a lifelong commitment to education, administration, the arts, and service. Felicia currently serves as the Administrative Coordinator for the Department of Music at ¹û¶³APP. Prior to this role, she spent more than 20 years as Office Manager for the Cowen Clinic for Rehabilitation Medicine, where she developed extensive experience in healthcare administration, organizational leadership, and patient support.
A retired educator, Felicia most recently taught art, lead the school choir and served as the Religious Education Coordinator at St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School for more than six years. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to fostering creativity, learning, and faith while supporting students, families, and colleagues with compassion and professionalism.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Felicia remains actively involved in supporting the arts and her community. In her free time, Felicia enjoys painting, playing the piano and reading- pursuits that reflect her lifelong appreciation for creativity and the arts. She is the proud mother of three children and two very spoiled pups.
Accomplishments:
Felicia recently served on the Encore Guild, helping organize Sound Unbound, the Department of Music’s signature fundraising event at ¹û¶³APP. She is also an active member of the ACTS community, most recently serving as Co-Director, where she continues to share her leadership, faith, and commitment to serving others. She also has served in various community clubs such as Thibodaux Service League, Femmes Natales, Amigas Club, Mother’s Club of EDW and the PTC at St. Joseph in which she served as president of both.
